When I was in the early stages of my business, I was so focused on “doing” that I really never stopped to even think about all the great things happening in my life and business.
And as I’ve worked with hundreds of entrepreneurs, one thing I know to be true is that we simply don’t celebrate enough! We achieve one goal and we are right on to the next one, right?
I get it. I know I did this for years. But I paid a price. Giving up on social opportunities, missing family events, and always focusing on keeping all the balls in the air.
I forgot to enjoy the journey along the way.
As my business grew, my priorities did as well. And I began to see that when I celebrated more, not only was I happier, but my business was more successful. And that shift in my thinking led me to my mantra for myself and my clients today.
When you take the time to celebrate the successes along the way, you enjoy the journey.
Otherwise, it’s way too easy to get stressed out and burned out.
And when that happens, I guarantee that you’ll be less productive, less successful, and a whole lot less happy.
So whatever you are doing today, why not take time to be grateful for the success you’ve created this year, and CELEBRATE it!
