I get requests to “partner” with other entrepreneurs all the time, and I’m really choosy about saying “yes”. Because who you choose to partner with reflects upon you and your business.

Today I want to share one of my favorite strategies for growing your community AND adding value.

I get requests to “partner” with other entrepreneurs all the time, and I’m really choosy about saying “yes”.

Because who you choose to partner with reflects upon you and your business.

There are 3 key questions I ask to ensure I choose great partners:

  • Do they act from integrity? – This is a non-negotiable for anyone I’d partner with.  If they aren’t consistently in integrity in everything I see in their business, I’m out.
  • Do I like them?  – This might seem “silly”, but I want to partner with people I enjoy working with. As an entrepreneur, we get to do marketing we love and work with people we love…and I don’t compromise on this.
  • Is their audience my audience? – I may love a potential partner, but if they don’t target the people I want to reach, then it just isn’t a good fit. I want to provide value to my community with every partnership I enter, so this one is a big deal-breaker.

There are so many ways to collaborate and partner with other entrepreneurs.  

You can share a free gift with each other’s community. This is one of my favorites and something I offer to a lot of the new connections I make. 

You can interview each other on a Facebook or LinkedIn  Live.

You can promote each other’s newest offer or launch.

You can send each other referrals.

And the list goes on.

Being an entrepreneur is so much more fun when you surround yourself with people you love and who support you.
